Products include OCS and OCS Aviation cleaner, Tijuana and Los Angeles water, and ultrasonic cleaner
Testing
11 tests were completed, galvanized parts were removed in Tijuana and Los Angeles water in 6 different tests, Steel parts were cleaned in in Tijuana and Los Angeles water in 5 different tests.
Conclusion
All galvanized and steel parts were air dried.

Galvanized parts had scratches or wear before oil was removed. Some parts had oil leaking and were not cleaned properly before galvanizing was applied.

Steel Parts were easily corroded when using Tijuana water because the pH was 6 (contained bugs or bacteria). Parts had a coating of phosphate with OCS cleaner and Los Angeles water; which means that steel parts should not be rinsed because the phosphate coating will help make a superior bond.

Recommendations

Use clean water with a pH of 7-7. with OCS
