Two test methods were completed, with two steps each.  Rivets were cleaned using immersion cleaner and cleaning and drying times varied with testes.  Parts were inspected visually, and with black light and terry cloth.  A rotation basket can create faster cleaning time.  An oil spinner will also increase cleaning time, and rinsing should not be used on the steel parts, as the O.C.S. cleaner gives excellent rust protection.  Ultrafiltration can keep the wash system clean by removing the contaminants only.  Batch cleaning is recommended.
