Removal of buffing compounds from dental implants
Tests
There were 5 tests and in each test it was cleaned ultrasonically for 5 minutes at a 10:1 dilution ratio. Parts were rinsed at 165°f and 170°f then rinsed in tap water and 80% DI water + 20% denatured alcohol. in the final step it was rinsed for 2 minutes then hot air blow dry.
Oil Removal
It took 4 tests to remove the oil. The first 2 steps was cleaning the parts at a 10:1 dilution ratio, heated at 150°f for 5 minutes with no rinse and then an ambient air dry. In the 3rd step, you clean the parts in a polypropolene holder at a 8:1 dillution ratio at 160°f for 15 minutes then rinse at 40 khz at 180°f for 2 minutes blow dry.
In step 4, parts were cleaned at 40 khz ultrasound at 165°f at a 8:1 dilution ratio for 5 minutes and then rinsed for 2 minutes at 170°f and 180°f then rinsed at 150°f in 20% alcohol and 80% DI water then blow dried.

Cleaning was done in a sonicor 40 khz ultrasonic machine using OCS H2002U Ultrasonic Cleaner.
Rinsing was done using 2 sonicor 40 khz ultrasonic machines and bottled water.
Then test c was done using a sweep sonic machine from sonicor.
